CEX Superhero Advert
I collaborated with CEX to create a hand-drawn animated advert built around the theme of turning unused tech into cash. After exploring multiple concepts, the team chose a superhero narrative—our hero harnessing the power of tech to defeat a monster embodying household bills. With an incredibly tight turnaround of just one to two weeks from concept to storyboard to final delivery, the project demanded agility and smart prioritisation. While some corners inevitably had to be cut, the process sharpened my ability to streamline workflows, make decisive creative choices, and deliver high-quality results under pressure—skills that have proved invaluable in client-facing work with brands like CEX.

Bilingual Art Cards
A few months ago, I designed and printed a custom deck of bilingual flashcards for my daughter as part of our journey raising her in both German and English. I'm always on the lookout for creative ways to support her learning — and this felt like the perfect opportunity to combine my design skills with something meaningful. What started as a personal project has grown into something I’m excited to share more widely.

Deliciously Ugly Porridge
I developed an in-house advert for a porridge brand that embraced an unconventional truth: porridge isn’t exactly the most photogenic food. Leaning into this, I played with the familiar trope of being warned before seeing something “horrific,” amplifying the humor and hyperbole to create intrigue. The result was a playful yet polished spot, with my favorite moment being the smooth, satisfying animation of the porridge slopping into the bowl. Beyond the motion design, I crafted the audio with precision—capturing attention within the crucial first seconds and enhancing the overall impact.

Fizz Burst Soda
To keep my creative skills sharp, I set myself a challenge: produce a high-impact, 7-second social video for a completely fictional brand. Using a brief generated by ChatGPT—which included a logo, packshot, and a request for a summery, upbeat tone—I built out the concept from start to finish. I sourced complementary AI-generated music, then designed a vibrant poolside scene entirely in After Effects using only native effects. The hero moment—a can plunging into the water—was crafted to feel semi-realistic while evoking the sensations of holidays, fun, and refreshment, forging a clear emotional link between the brand and its lifestyle appeal.

YSL - Dua Lipa
While this project didn’t require extensive motion graphics, it perfectly illustrates how subtle design choices can have a big impact. The simple Polaroid-style shots grounded Dua Lipa’s narrative about YSL, creating a clear visual anchor for her words. My favorite moment is the final frame, where the blush palettes glide in like hockey pucks—a detail I refined using After Effects’ graph editor to give the movement a realistic sense of weight and momentum. This closing moment serves as a satisfying crescendo to the piece, tying the visuals and message together with a touch of understated craftsmanship.
